About Us

At the I Am Centre for Autism, we are passionate about teaching and supporting the personal and academic growth of children on the Autism Spectrum. Our holistic approach incorporates an adapted curriculum tailored to each child’s unique needs, alongside extra-curricular activities that promote the development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, life skills, and sensory exploration.

Family support is a cornerstone of our mission. We provide support groups for parents and host information evenings with experts in the field, ensuring families feel equipped and empowered to support their children.

Celeste Viljoen, the principal and founder of the I Am Centre for Autism, is a mother to a child with Autism and a qualified teacher and psychometrist. Her personal journey to find a suitable school for her child inspired her to create a loving, inclusive environment where children can grow, learn, and flourish.
